Challenge
GEC faced two high-profile challenges in the sports sector. The first was the new Al Ahly Club branch in New Cairo, where only top elevator providers were considered for the 50-acre facility. The second was the Dr. Hassan Mostafa Sports Hall, a massive project assigned just 70 days before Egypt hosted the 2021 Handball World Championship—an event of global significance during the COVID-19 era.
Solution
For Al Ahly, GEC installed 3 luxurious elevators meeting international standards, enhancing the club's expanding infrastructure. For the sports complex, we collaborated with MOVILIFT Italy to design, manufacture, and deliver 7 high-performance elevators in record time—manufacturing in 30 days and installation in just 21 days, one week ahead of the tournament.
