The Central Bus Station in the New Administrative Capital is the largest international bus terminal in the Middle East, spanning 300 acres and operating as the primary transportation artery of the city. The station was built with solar energy and eco-friendly specs, requiring a large-scale, high-efficiency vertical mobility system with zero room for delay.
Solution
GEC earned top technical scores from supervising consultants and won the Ministry of Transport’s approval. We delivered a full mobility package including 56 elevators (serving passengers, VIPs, and people with special needs), 18 escalators, and 10 underground moving walkways—all within 6 months, ahead of schedule.
Results
- Delivered 84 integrated vertical and horizontal mobility systems across all passenger zones.
- Full project completed before the deadline, with flawless quality control.
